Business connections at the highest level
A step back in time
To understand the start of the collaboration between Bundeling and PSV, we go back six years. The platform was already in use, but not nearly as optimally as it is today. Fortunately, both parties believed in the value of a sustainable partnership and embraced the challenge: we set out to turn this platform into a success.
With an open mindset, honest conversations and plenty of cups of coffee, we took a close look at the process. What could be improved? What does PSV truly need for optimal member interaction? And how do we ensure the platform aligns with the club’s vision?
This marked the beginning of a valuable and educational process of refining, trial and error, and being honest with each other. The result speaks for itself: the platform has become the digital heart of the PSV Business Community, powered by Bundeling.
Hospitality as elite performance
For PSV, community management is not a side issue. It is the foundation they build on. As they put it so well themselves: “Sport serves as a common language. Through PSV Business, we connect different backgrounds, ages, cultures and interests.”
In this process, the PSV Business App acts as an extension of the account managers and the Business Support team. Where they provide warm and personal contact at PSV, the app extends that hospitality into the digital world. “The members’ app helps us deliver the welcoming experience we want to stand for as a club.” The platform contributes to the club’s identity: “It helps us communicate our core and brand values, culture and identity.”
Hospitality is one of those core values. “It is a strength we want everyone connected to us to feel: players, supporters, and certainly our business relations.”
“That value comes to life for our members in our hospitality experiences, from business seats to skyboxes, which are currently fully sold out. But just as much in the way we communicate with our relations. Through personal contact, surprising service and information you receive before you even ask for it. The PSV Business App is an essential tool in helping us deliver the hospitable experience we strive for as a club.”
A business network in your pocket
Whether it’s a business event, making a one-to-one connection, sharing news or accessing match information, the app keeps the community alive. As partners themselves say, they literally carry “the largest business network in the south of the Netherlands” in their pocket.
A great example is the business trips surrounding UEFA Champions League matches. This is where the app truly proves its value. No separate emails or printed programmes, but everything clearly organised in one place. PSV Business staff communicate directly via the app, create connections and send last-minute updates through push notifications. As one of them states: “PSV Business functions as our primary communication channel.”
PSV also invests heavily in different forms of content. They don’t just share news updates, but also strong campaigns created by the Media Team. “In this way, we create a higher fan experience.”
All of this happens on the same platform. You might wonder how this doesn’t lead to everyone receiving every update. Within the Bundeling platform, this is managed through labelling. By adding a label, for example for a specific event or group of connections, you ensure that each type of content reaches only the right people.
Results & impact
The data speaks for itself. The app is not only opened on matchdays, but especially outside of them. Business members no longer need to search through their inboxes for tickets or updates; everything is centrally available. This continuous interaction creates a sense of pride and engagement. PSV summarises it perfectly: “The app makes communication with our business relations fast, accessible and personal.”

In addition, members enjoy being able to see who has already signed up for an event.
Because PSV Business has full control over communication through the PSV Business App, they are no longer dependent on other departments for creating communication materials. This not only saves a tremendous amount of time, but also creates autonomy. Every colleague, from any department, can step in when needed.
Continuing to score together
What started six years ago as a journey of discovery has now become a strong platform that connects. PSV describes the current situation as follows: “The PSV Business App functions as an extension of the PSV experience, increasing connection, pride, business value and engagement. #CreatingStarsTogether”
Ultimately, it’s about more than just collecting information. “It is social interaction that creates connection, engagement and shared success,” PSV concludes. And us? We are proud to have been part of this journey together. Not only today, but also towards the future ahead.
It clearly shows that having a platform is just the beginning. The real value lies in how you use it and continue to innovate.
