“We created a community feeling with Bundeling”

Club Deportivo Leganés S.A.D. is a Spanish football club playing in LaLiga’s Segunda División. With its home base in Butarque, the club recently launched a digital business club, bringing together more than 100 local partners in just six months. As the network grew, so did the need for a more structured and connected way of communicating.

From fragmented communication to one network

Before Bundeling, communication with partners was scattered across email, phone calls and WhatsApp. Organising events meant sending multiple emails and manually keeping track of attendance. There was no central overview, and partners had no way of connecting with each other or seeing what was happening within the network.

“For example, if we wanted to host an event, we had to send email after email to our partners,” says Victor Marin Morales, Communication and Business Director at CD Leganés.

This made it difficult to scale the business club and create a consistent experience for members.

Building a business community

When CD Leganés discovered Bundeling, the opportunity was clear.

“Well, when I saw what Bundeling could offer us, I immediately saw that it was a great solution for us and the sponsors.”

Instead of one-way communication, the club was now able to create a space where sponsors could actively connect, respond, and build relationships with each other.

“This builds a community between them, that’s really what we were looking for.”

The focus shifted from simply informing sponsors to creating a network where real interaction and business opportunities could take place.

Simplifying operations and improving experience

Bundeling is now used as the central platform for communication, event management and ticketing.

“We use the platform to speak with our sponsors, send invitations and tickets for matches and events.”

Where tickets previously had to be collected at the stadium, often resulting in queues, they are now sent directly via the app. This not only saves time, but also improves the overall experience for partners.

At the same time, organising events has become significantly more efficient.

“We don’t have to write an email and make an Excel file for every event. This happens automatically.”

Guest lists are updated in real time, removing manual work and reducing the chance of errors.

Creating interaction and connection

The platform is not only used for practical purposes, but also to actively build relationships within the network.

“We created a community feeling by speaking with our partners through the group- or individual chats.”

Members can easily connect with each other, exchange information and participate in events. From sharing shirt sizes for a friendly match to joining business activities, everything is managed through one environment. This level of interaction helps strengthen the connection between the club and its partners, but also between partners themselves.

A platform that keeps evolving

While the foundation is in place, CD Leganés continues to build on its community.

“Well, I think we still have to improve the use of our platform.”

The focus is on increasing engagement and encouraging members to use features such as the marketplace, allowing them to share offers and create additional value within the network. Ultimately, the goal goes beyond communication alone.

What we want most is that the sponsor feels Leganes is a friend. And we really feel that Bundeling can help us achieve this.”
