“Once you’re used to it, you won’t want to use anything else”
Logistic Force is a full-service HR service provider in the transport and logistics sector, with 17 offices across the Netherlands. The organisation offers a wide range of services, including temporary staffing, recruitment, and training. Following the acquisition of WorkTrans, the organisation expanded significantly, growing to over 200 employees and broadening its national coverage. With that growth came a familiar challenge: keeping everyone connected.
From newsletters to engagement
Before introducing Bundeling, internal communication mainly relied on newsletters. However, these proved to be ineffective. Employees simply weren’t reading them, making it difficult to keep everyone informed and involved, especially across multiple branches. The need for a more engaging and interactive solution became clear.
A familiar platform
Logistic Force was already familiar with Bundeling through its involvement with football club Willem II, where the platform was used within the business club. That experience made the potential immediately clear.
“We immediately realised that Bundeling would also be a very useful tool for our organisation,” says Demy van der Jagt, marketing communications officer at Logistic Force.
Initially, the idea of developing a custom app was considered, but this quickly proved to be complex and time-consuming. Bundeling offered a ready-to-use solution that matched their needs.
Building a platform for interaction
From the start, one aspect was particularly important: interactivity.
“What was especially important for us was the interactivity aspect – that our employees could respond to the messages we post.”
At the same time, the platform was adapted to match the organisation’s identity. After the acquisition of WorkTrans, the design was updated to ensure new employees would feel at home within the platform.
Connecting branches and sharing knowledge
Today, Bundeling plays a central role in internal communication. A wide variety of content is shared, ranging from company updates and new systems to more informal posts such as birthdays and employee introductions. These introductions, in particular, have become a recurring success. New employees complete a short questionnaire, which is then shared within the app. At the same time, the platform helps bridge the gap between different branches.
“It’s harder to be aware of what’s happening at other branches, so it’s nice to be able to use Bundeling to involve their employees too.”
This creates what Logistic Force describes as ‘cross-pollination’ between locations, where employees actively connect and exchange ideas.
Supporting structure and efficiency
In addition to communication, Bundeling also supports internal processes. The integration with the HRM system AFAS ensures that new employees are automatically added to the platform, making onboarding more efficient. Features such as labels help tailor communication to specific groups, ensuring that messages reach the right people.
“You can attach a label to something so it ends up with the right people. It’s a great feature.”
Employees also use the platform as a practical tool in their daily work, for example as a central contact directory.
What works
Engagement is driven by relevant and recognisable content. Messages celebrating success perform well, as do updates from management. Employees value insight into the direction of the organisation and appreciate being kept informed.
A platform that grows with the organisation
After nearly four years of use, Bundeling has become a natural part of the organisation. Adoption took time in the beginning, but as employees became more familiar with the platform, usage increased.
“People needed time to get used to the platform and sharing news at first, but once you’re used to it, you won’t want to use anything else.”
